the man sitting in the seat next to me on the bus has hair on this knuckles and as the deep blue water passes underneath us both, i think of my grandpa’s cold hand, the hair on his knuckles, and the tattoo of a cross between his thumb and forefinger disfigured by age, more permanent than life.
Well.
In spite of my efforts to keep this blog from steering directly into the swamps of my humor here’s a list of things I’ve found to be exceptionally awesome in the last few weeks.

3. Being horrifically sick while finding yourself without medical insurance
